Happy New Year and Toledo Trip

Dear History Groupers,

Wishing you an enjoyable time over the festivities, wherever you are  and looking forward to seeing you at the meetings next year – first one 10th January 2014.

Members of the Nerja History Group and Nerja DFAS plus two members from Benahavis DFAS, recently enjoyed a two night three-day trip “In the footsteps of Christopher Columbus” to the city of Sevilla and province of Huelva. Superb organisation, excellent guides, top-class food, wine and accommodation together with good travelling  companions made it a trip to remember!

Our coach left Nerja at the crack of dawn and headed for Sevilla, where we visited the Cathedral to admire the impressive tomb of Christopher Columbus, now confirmed by DNA testing as his final resting place.
