Meeting Jan 10th

Hello History Groupers,

Just to remind you that our first meeting of the season, is this coming Friday 10th January.

Our Talk is “Perspectives of the Spanish Civil War” by Sue Harvey, who will discuss the work of 2 authors, Gamel Woolsey and George Orwell.

Many of you will remember Sue, who ran the history group for a few years prior to me !  It will be nice to give her a big welcome.

Meeting starts as usual at 11.30 am (please have coffee beforehand), when I will give details of our forthcoming trips and any notices then after a short break, Sue will start at approx. mid-day.  6 € Donation at door – please try to have correct money (I have been asked to ask you all, as there were several 50€ notes last month and it’s tricky for change ! )
